Welcome to Fun City!

Last year we were asked to develop a new sign for the front entrance of Cedar Hill School in Basking Ridge replacing an old faded and torn banner. We worked with Principal Mollica to develop it,  but unfortunately he retired before the funding was approved and the sign was installed. This year the school board decided to honor Mr. Mollica by naming the playground after him and we used the same owl branding that we developed with his guidance for this great looking hand crafted sign.

We Hope Our Sign Puts You to Sleep

Six months ago Christina Zubac and her mom Athena stopped by our shop after seeing our signs online and fell in love with the Gluten Free Bakery sign we were working on at the time. They have been two of the nicest customers to work with and it was a real pleasure to create this handcrafted carved sign for them. They sell organic mattresses which are heavenly to sleep on and are free of all the toxic chemicals found in conventional mattresses and bedding. Conventional bedding is embedded with synthetic fibers, chemical preservatives and fire retardants that are not only unnecessary butexpel fumes for years that you and your children are inhaling all night long for years. Christina and her mom are the nicest people you would want to meet and their mattresses will let you get the good healthy nights sleep you deserve, and while your there take a look at a great carved sign! The site is not yet finished yet, but give it a look when your ready for a natural refreshing nights sleep (stonehomeorganics.com) or call them at 973-744-4114 or stop by the new store at 219 Bellevue Avenue, Upper Montclair, NJ 07043

Our New Toy

We've had our eye on this manual steel tube bender for quite some time! We can now bend our own steel into beautiful curves by hand on this small hand crank tool. With this we can create our own beautiful scroll sign hangers, steel frames and steel accents without having to outsource. Decorative steel frames add such beauty to traditional carved signs like ours. Below are a few examples

We have been using these products for years in our finest carved signsand this was a great opportunity to try some of the new products available and meet first hand some of the company technicians developing some of the newest patinas available. Thanks Architectural Iron and Sculpt Nouveau (sculptnouveau.com)
