I had a great time at the workshop rubbing elbows with some of the greats in the sign business and learning new materials and techniques to make great signs for all my customers. On the long drive there and back I had a chance to stop in some great locations including Hershey, Pittsburgh, Louisville, and Notre Dame University. I even got a chance to visit the world famous Sign Museum in Cincinnati Ohio, it was a lot of fun and a much needed break from the day to day.
Off To Indiana
Were off to attend Indiana Rob's Sign Workshop. I really looking forward to meeting fellow sign makers from all over the country. Instructors include Dan Sawastzky, Peter Poenessa and Sandy Baird.
New Sign for St. James School
We are proud to announce that our new sign for St. James Catholic Church inspired a boy scout attending the St. James School to initiate a campaign to replace the existing school sign with one matching the church sign. The scouts name is Marshall Boles and he plans to raise money by selling engraved bricks. The bricks will be placed around the flag pole on North Finley Avenue. If you would like to help out Marshall I encourage you to contact him. Each brick will allow 3 lines of copy with a maximum letter count of 15 characters and spaces per line. You can reach marshal at Marshall Boles marshallboles@me.com

Just In Time for Palm Sunday
3/24/2013 - Well it took a couple of sleepless nights, but we finished the St. James Sign in time for Palm Sunday. Stone Pillars, 4" thick PVC Plastic Faces supported by an internal steel structure. The arch above and the hanging sign below are both tied directly into the internal steel. This sign is tight, strong and very heavy. It was a huge challenge but a lot of fun and worth all the extra hours. Pass by and take a look!
