After making a beautiful custom dimensional sign for Basking Ridge last year their sister station in Liberty Corner took a closer look at their own sign and realized it was time. This handcrafted sign was made to resemble their sister station but still have its own look and personality just like the brave volunteers in each station. There is a bit of a rivalry between the 2 stations, so don't ask me which sign I like better, like my children I love them equally. Thanks again to the many hands that volunteered to help us raise up this 500lb Carved Sign.
Walls and a Roof
On Friday, we finished up on the wall and roof of the new office. Reed's Lumber in charge of the barn reconstruction chose the Zip system which is a new flake board that is prepainted on one side which eliminates the need for tar paper on the roof or Tyvek on the outer walls. Seams are sealed using a special tape. Now all we need is electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, an insulation, sheetrock, stairs and a cement floor, Oh'well we'll get there eventually.... In the meantime we are still making our custom dimensional signs in our old building right next door.
2nd Floor is Shaping Up!
2nd floor will be my new office and custom sign design center. Its where we will meet with our customers and begin the process of making you memorable Custom Business Sign, Carved Sign or Dimentional Sign.
The New Addition is Growing Quickly
The first floor framing is nearly complete and I can begin to visualize where everything will go and all the great custom signs that will soon be created there.
Honoring a Dedicated Gardener
A good guy and a dedicated gardener passed away earlier this year. His friends at Drew University decided to rename the community garden he loved so very much and commissioned a sign to honor his lifelong passion. I hope this custom sign is as beautiful as the flowers he loved to cultivate.
