Now that we are emerging from the fog of constructions on the new shop we can get back to the business of making great handcrafted signs. I can not think of a better recipient for our 1st sign to come out of the new shop than the local life savers at the Peapack Gladsone First Aid and Rescue Squad. This was the 1st job to come off the new router and were mighty proud of the result. It features raised prismatic gold leaf lettering on a hand carved faux woodgrained background, crushed glass smaltz details and a custom cedar enclosed post stained to match the building exterior. The Fist Aid and Rescue Squad is all volunteer and is supported entirely by private and public donations, so help them out with a donation or be a volunteer, believe me, they're a great bunch!
Now We're in Business
Finishing Touches
Finally the weather is warm enough for our friends Albertson Masonry, Basking Ridge, NJ to add a Stone Facade to our new Customer Pick-up area. It is asheltered little nook just to the right of our garage door where customers can come to pick up their new custom signs at their convenience night, day or weekend. If you need to pick up your sign at an odd hour or before heading off to work, just let us know and we will leave it out for your convenience. We'll leave the light on for you!
It's Been a Long Time Since Our Last Post
It has been an exciting and busy time. We have been frantic finishing up the new shop and receiving a lot of new equipment. We have a new MultiCam 3000 router, a real workhorse that will let us produce some amazing signs in the future. We still need to add a few pictures to the wall but we get a bit closer every day to being fully operational. Stop by and take a look, we would like to see you and we could use your help moving equipment!!!
New Logo
The new shop deserved a new logo that would reflect our new focus on carved dimensional signs. It was designed with the help of award winning designer and freind Joe Diaz. Our first use of the logo is fittingly on our new front door.
