Wow, what an honor...

We are very proud to announce that our sign for Brookside Engine Company 1 in Mendham, NJ will be the cover of the world's oldest, largest and most respected sign magazine, Signs of the Times, for the upcomming November 2016 edition. This year marks the magazines 110th year of publishing and and we are very proad that they would consider our dimensional signs some of the finest they have seen in their long history of publishing. A sign as Beautiful as its Surroundings

This week we delivered the 1st of 11 new signs for the Madison NJ, Parks Department. Unlike the old wood signs that were split, cracked and in some cases spotted with mold, these new signs are totally sythetic and built to survive our changing seasons, acid rain and freeing cold, winters, hot humid summers and remain looking like a new carved wood sign.

Ooohh, New Store

Ooooh new store was a comment I heard from many a passer by while I was installing this beautiful new carved sign.  The owner Tim Balshi opened his 5th store this week in historic Morristown, NJ. and wanted a dimensional sign that expressed the rich quality of their products. Other locations include, Lancaster, PA, Bethlehem, PA, Bethesda, MD and Annapolis, MD. Tim and his wife Aguilar offer their own brand of fresh award winning extra virgin olive oil. This Place looks like Fun!

As we were packing up after installing this beautiful handmade carved sign a little boy pointed at our sign and said, "This place looks like its going to be fun" The difference between a good sign and a great one is that a good sign communicates information, a great sign communicates a feeling, draws you in and makes you want to cross the street, look into the window, open the door and experience what is inside. Nothing quite captures that reaction better than a custom dimensional sign

Reverse Gold Leaf on Glass

Today we had the great honor of attending a workshop hosted by Josh Luke and Meredith Kasabian of Best Dressed Sign of Boston on reverse gold leaf lettering while attending the 41st Annual International Letterhead Meet in Amsterdam. Reverse Gold leaf is a great new technique we are eager to learn and offer to our customers. Nothing is more elegant and classically beautiful. I can't wait to get home and start decorating some of our glass doors. Well maybe after we enjoy Amsterdam for a few more days!
