This custom sign was commissioned as a one-of-a-kind gift for a friend’s backyard pizza kitchen in Brewster, Massachusetts. The design turns the recipient into the star, pairing his portrait with a wood-fired pizza and bold, traditional lettering.
We fabricated the sign from durable high-density urethane (HDU) and painted it in a warm cream, deep navy, burgundy, and olive color palette. A printed photograph of the recipient was applied to the sign face and incorporated into the overall design.
The finished piece is personal, lighthearted, and perfectly suited to a backyard gathering space built around good food and good company. It is a fun example of how a custom sign can capture someone’s personality and turn a private space into something truly memorable.
