5/26/12 - Its time to begin work on our favorite piece of the garden project, the LAWYER sign. To protect the community garden from legal action the Library's lawyer insisted on an Enter at Your own Risk disclaimer featured prominenly in the garden. What a bummer right? NO, it's a great opportunity to have some fun! First we need to imagine what kind of person would insist on such a sign in a place that is supposed to be an escape from the everyday crazy world we live in. I have not met the real person but for our sign, I am a man who would have lost and pulled out all his hair from worry, with narrow little eyes that only see the worst possible outcome, a big nose to smell trouble around the corner and broad shoulder to hold up the thoughts of every bad thing that could possibly happen, With that, lets get started...
